Waterproof Digital Cameras

Waterproof digital cameras are great for allowing you to take pictures anywhere, even underwater and not worry about your camera.

There are a couple of things you need to know about taking pictures with a waterproof digital camera.  As you go deeper underwater the light diffuses and therefore your pictures will be darker than the ones you would take on land.  To avoid this, use white balance to come up with natural colors. Also, pictures taken underwater will come up larger than pictures taken on land with the same zoom effect. Be sure to check your digital camera’s viewfinder to check the right picture angle and size that you want.

Its advisable to use external flash with your waterproof camera when taking pictures underwater otherwise your pictures can come out blurry and woth white particles floating above.

Macros lenses can be a useful addition to your digital camera so that you can capture pictures of small things without getting too close and frightening them away.
 
After using your waterproof camera, wash of the salt so that is doesn’t crystallize and cause leaks in your camera case.
